IRAN: NUCLEAR DE HOOP SCHEFFER
SECRETARY-GENERAL IN BERLIN, STRUCK AND MEETINGS WITH FISCHER
BERLIN, 7 October -
The NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, visiting Berlin, and 'said
concerned about the nuclear program Iran. De Hoop Scheffer announced that the Alliance level
Parliamentary Assembly, will address' the problem but
that NATO has no plans, however, to act upon it.
During his visit to Berlin, the Secretary-General 's
Alliance has had meetings with Defence Minister Peter Struck
and Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer. Also
de Hoop Scheffer and 'also met with the leader of the SPD
Franz Muentefering and leader of the opposition CDU Angela Merkel
.
In statements to reporters, said that the problem of Iran's nuclear program and

has called on Iran to cease all efforts to produce enriched uranium
